What we deliver

Clean, consistent, catalogue-ready.

Bags, wallets and belts sell on texture and craftsmanship. Every image is retouched by hand for a premium, true-to-life finish that sells.

Why Retouch Atelier

Detail that drives conversion.

Luxury texture

Leather grain preserved and cleaned for a premium look.

Polished hardware

Zips, buckles and clasps shining and mark-free.

Restored structure

Slumped or creased bags reshaped to their best form.

Our process

Structure is everything.

A handbag photographs badly for one reason: it collapses. Most of the work is rebuilding the shape the designer intended without making the leather look artificial.

1 · Shape rebuild

Sagging sides, collapsed corners and a slumped base are reshaped so the bag stands the way it does in a boutique. Stuffing, clips and supports are removed from the frame.

2 · Leather & texture

Grain, pebbling, saffiano texture and patent gloss are preserved while scuffs, storage creases and handling marks are cleaned away.

3 · Hardware

Clasps, buckles, zips, chains and logo plates are polished, with reflections controlled so gold reads warm and silver reads cool instead of blowing out to white.

4 · Shadow & QC

A grounded shadow gives the bag weight, then a second retoucher checks the run for matching angle, colour and scale across every colourway.

Coverage

Every bag, every material.

Totes, crossbodies, clutches, backpacks, luggage and small leather goods — on white, on model or styled.

Accessory shoots usually combine this with background removal, shadow creation and colour correction, delivered ready for Amazon or Shopify. Brands shooting full ranges also send footwear, eyewear and apparel in the same batch.

FAQ

Handbag Retouching — questions

Can you reshape a bag that looks slumped in the photo?

Yes — structure and shape correction restores a bag to its intended silhouette.

Do you polish metal hardware?

We clean and polish zips, buckles and clasps while keeping them realistic.

Can you keep the leather texture natural?

Yes — we clean marks and dust while preserving authentic grain and sheen.

How do I start?

Send one bag image for a free test edit — no commitment.

Can you fix a bag that sagged during the shoot?

Yes. Reshaping collapsed sides, corners and the base is the most common request on handbag work, and we do it while keeping the leather reading as leather rather than a smooth render.

Can you remove the stuffing or supports?

Yes. Tissue, clips, stands and fishing line are removed and the area behind them rebuilt, so nothing gives away how the bag was held up.

Will hardware still look like real metal?

Yes. We control reflections rather than erase them, so gold stays warm and silver stays cool. Stripping every highlight is what makes hardware look painted on.

How long does handbag retouching take?

Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours, with seasonal collections scheduled in batches at an agreed daily volume.
