Everything below was read off each provider's own website on 2 November 2026 and is linked so you can check it. If you are looking for an alternative to Pixelz you already have a supplier and a specific complaint — so the useful page is the one that tells you when to stay.
Written by Retouch Atelier. We are one of the alternatives, so read it accordingly. What we can offer instead of neutrality is sourcing: every figure carries a date and a link, and the section headed when Pixelz is the right answer is not a formality.
| Published price | $0.95 per image, stated as a starting price on the Professional plan. Enterprise pricing is custom and not published. |
| Turnaround | Their FAQ states 12–24 hours, usually the next morning for Professional customers, and custom times for Enterprise. An Expedite option in their platform processes images in 3 hours. |
| Scope | Product images only — their FAQ says plainly that they do not edit portraits or anything that is not a product being sold online. |
| AI | A central part of the offer. A Specialist Assisted Workflow combining retouchers with automated AI-driven steps, plus AI-generated campaigns, AI models, digital twins and image-to-video as services. Their FAQ: all the generation is done in-house by our own workflows and teams. |
| Platform | A client platform with QC markup tools, high-resolution review, order tracking, lead-time and on-time-delivery dashboards. |
| Scale | Site states trusted by 30,000 brands, and names large retail and fashion clients on the homepage. |

If two or more of those describe you, the rest of this page will not change your mind and should not.
Both studios retouch product images at scale and both publish their rates. The structural difference is what else happens to your files.

Pixelz's AI direction is a deliberate product decision and it is clearly disclosed on their own site. It is an advantage for most buyers. It is only a problem if your licensing, your model releases or your legal team require that no generated content enters your catalogue — and if that is you, it is not a preference, it is a constraint. What you can require in writing.
Rates across the category, read off each provider's own pricing page and dated, are in the price index.
Take twenty frames from a live job — including the three hardest — and send the identical set to both. Then measure rather than squint.
The method is written out in full, free, and written so you can run it on us: the catalogue consistency standard.
$0.95 per image as a published starting price on the Professional plan, with Enterprise pricing listed as custom. Read off their pricing page on 2 November 2026. Third-party comparison pages quote higher figures for specific services; those were not confirmed on Pixelz's own site and we have not repeated them as fact.
Yes, and they say so plainly. A Specialist Assisted Workflow combining retouchers with automated AI steps, plus AI-generated campaigns, AI models, digital twins and image-to-video. Their FAQ states all generation is done in-house. For most buyers that is a reason to choose them.
If you want AI-generated imagery from the same supplier, if you want a self-serve platform with dashboards, if you need three-hour turnaround on demand, or if your volume is small. Any two of those and you should stay.
A studio where generation is not in the pipeline. We retouch every frame by hand, never run client files through generative tools, never use client work as training data, and sign your own DPA committing to it — including for any partner studio used at peak.
Not uniformly, and we would rather say so. Our clipping path starts below their entry price and our jewellery work starts above it. We publish the full table so you can compare the service you actually buy rather than a headline number.
Free, returned in six hours, on your own products rather than our portfolio. For catalogues at 500 images a month or more. Above 2,000 a month, the paid production fit test puts a real batch through the floor instead.
