Who wrote this. Retouch Atelier publishes this page and puts itself first. Every other studio is described from its own website, linked, and each gets a note on where it is the better choice.
For whole collections where every stone has to read true across forty frames, start with Retouch Atelier. For a tiered menu with a $0.99 entry point, Clipping Expert Asia. For the lowest published starting rate on hand cleanup, Color Clipping. For a platform with an API, Pixelz.
Jewelry is where cheap retouching shows first. A ring at 400% zoom has nowhere to hide: prong scratches, glue at the setting, a white-gold band that went yellow under one light, a sapphire pushed so far it no longer matches the stone in the box. The customer only finds out when it arrives.

Dust, fibres, fingerprints, glue residue and prong scratches are cleared at 100% zoom. Metal is evened out and reshaped where the light failed, so a band keeps its form instead of going flat. Diamonds and coloured stones get clarity without losing facet detail or drifting in hue. Then a second retoucher checks the whole set for colour, background, crop and shadow before it leaves, so a forty-ring set reads as one sitting.
All of it by hand. Nothing passes through a generative tool, and we will say so in writing next to the NDA.
Choose us if you send collections, not single pieces, and colour accuracy on stones is the thing you get complaints about. Skip us if you need a hero image built from CAD or a 3D render — that is a different craft from retouching a photograph.
Four published tiers from $0.99 to $8.99 an image, with discounts from 50 images. They describe every technique as hand-executed, offer focus stacking for macro shots, unlimited revisions within 14 days, and delete files after 30 days.
Choose them if you want to see exactly which tier a piece falls into before you send it. Check the 48–72 hour window on premium work if you launch on fixed dates.
Jewelry cleanup from $1.99 an image, with single-order discounts up to 10% at 500 images. They state more than 100 in-house jewelry retouchers, a three-layer QC process and NDAs, and edit your first image free.
Choose them if you sell on Shopify, Amazon or Etsy and want manual work at a published entry price. Note that their page gives both 24 and 48 hours as standard; confirm which applies to your order.
A platform where you set specs and review images, with upload by browser, API or FTP, free reprocessing when an image misses spec, and a 3-hour expedite. Work combines retouchers with AI-assisted steps.
Choose them if you already run a studio pipeline and want jewelry inside it. Skip them if you need every step done by a person and written that way.
Send every studio the same three pieces: one polished gold band, one white stone, one coloured stone you know photographs wrong. Look at the band’s shape, the white stone’s fire, and whether the coloured stone still matches the real one on your desk. Most of the difference between studios shows up in those three frames.

For whole collections where stones must match across dozens of frames, Retouch Atelier retouches by hand with a second retoucher checking each set, at $2–$8 an image. Pixelz suits teams that want a platform and API; Clipping Expert Asia and Color Clipping publish lower entry prices for smaller orders.
Published prices on this page start at $0.95 (Pixelz, with a monthly plan), $0.99 (Clipping Expert Asia basic), $1.99 (Color Clipping) and $2 (Retouch Atelier), rising to around $8–$9 for high-end work. Complexity, stone count and volume move the price.
It can clear dust on simple pieces. It struggles with facet detail, true stone colour and metal shape, and some buyers need to say no generative model touched the image. Ask any vendor which steps are automated.
Yes. Retouch Atelier retouches five of your images free and returns them in six hours. Clipping Expert Asia offers 2–3 free images and Color Clipping one.
